Anchored – The Monthly Therapeutic Journaling Group for Perimenopause
‘Stimulating, supportive and a joy to be part of’
‘A chance to be held steady’
I’m so excited to get this group going! This group is for you if you’d like to make space to slow down, take stock, reduce overwhelm and anxiety and reconnect with your lifeforce during perimenopause.
Anchored is about having a point in the month where you intentionally reflect, express and process what’s going on and coming up for you in perimenopause/midlife flux. A chance to be held steady and draw on your own wisdom. An online group of folks at the same lifestage. My intention is for it to be stimulating, supportive and a joy to be part of.
Therapeutic journaling is a powerful tool which has been shown to improve mental wellbeing particularly at transitional points in life. We’ll have creative prompts designed to work particularly well with themes relevant to perimenopause and midlife. Sessions are trauma-informed and whilst there’s no such thing as a ‘safe space’, there is such a thing as a safe-enough one, which as a therapist I take seriously.
You don’t need to be a writer or creative to be part of this group. Sessions focus on self-expression, emotional wellbeing and community support – not grammar or literary skill. Sharing what you create is always optional.
Each session combines evidence-informed therapeutic writing prompts, grounding exercises and optional sharing in a warm, confidential environment.
